Project Meubles
Meubles stands as a premier furniture and homewares company, showcasing a diverse range of top-tier brands.
The structure of the building comprises a steel frame, featuring a hollowcore precast first floor, three precast concrete stairs, and two lifts. The architectural design involved the incorporation of extensive curtain walling, rainscreen cladding on front and side elevations, and Kingspan architectural cladding on the remaining surfaces.
A significant undertaking in this project involved the construction of a retail showroom spanning 100,000 square feet over two floors, complete with associated parking and service yards at Smithland’s Retail Park in Kilkenny. This expansion seamlessly integrated with the existing retail park, necessitating operational continuity throughout the construction process.

A meticulous fitout of the office and showroom areas included raised access floors, suspended ceilings, and eye-catching bulkheads featuring throughout the space, adorned with distinctive lighting elements.
The project’s success lies in its ability to seamlessly expand the retail park while ensuring uninterrupted operations and delivering a modern, inviting space that reflects the quality and sophistication synonymous with the Meubles brand.
