Ormonde Construction delivered the extensive refurbishment and fit-out of a 20,000 sq. ft., three-storey office building for Taxback in Kilkenny, transforming the existing property into a modern and high-quality corporate working environment.The project included a comprehensive ground-floor fit-out together with significant upgrades throughout the building and associated external works. New lift access was provided to the first and second floors, improving accessibility throughout the development.
A key architectural feature was the introduction of extensive curtain walling to the front elevation, creating a contemporary appearance while increasing natural light within the building. Internal works incorporated architectural finishes, raised access flooring and the coordination of building services required for a modern office environment.
One of the principal challenges was the five-month construction programme, requiring careful planning, efficient sequencing of trades and close coordination throughout the works.
The successful delivery of the project demonstrates Ormonde Construction’s ability to undertake substantial refurbishment and fit-out projects within demanding programmes, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, coordination and attention to detail.
