The wider project also included improvements to visitor access, pathways and external areas, creating a more accessible and welcoming experience while protecting the internationally renowned gardens and landscape. A key element of the development was the transformation of the existing courtyard into a high-quality visitor destination incorporating the Stables Café, retail space and visitor facilities.

The completed redevelopment successfully combines heritage conservation with contemporary construction, helping secure the long-term future of Mount Congreve while providing an enhanced experience for visitors to one of Ireland’s most celebrated gardens.
