PROJECT ARAS BRUGHA

Aras Brugha Hostel in Dungarvan underwent a comprehensive transformation through refurbishment, alterations, and an extension to the existing building. The scope of the project included a range of works aimed at enhancing and modernizing the facility.
The addition to the facility of the construction of a new three-storey extension, provided expanded space and modern amenities. Concurrently, a single-storey ancillary extension was integrated, serving to complement and enhance the overall structure. The partial demolition aspect of the project focused on creating new openings and reconfiguring the internal layout to optimize functionality and spatial efficiency.

The project also encompassed extensive mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, along with a comprehensive fit-out and upgrade of the existing building aimed to modernize and align the facility with contemporary standards, offering improved functionality and enhanced user experience.
Safety
As part of the safety measures incorporated into the project, a new fire escape staircase was installed.

The project's completion in March 2019 marked the culmination of a collaborative effort to enhance the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of Aras Brugha Hostel.
