Ormonde Construction delivered An Tobar for Kilkenny County Council, a residential development situated in the heart of Freshford, Co. Kilkenny, comprising 20 new homes together with a dedicated group home.
The development was designed to provide high-quality, modern and energy-efficient accommodation while integrating naturally with the existing village and surrounding residential community. The inclusion of the group home formed an important part of the overall scheme, providing purpose-built accommodation alongside the wider residential development.
Works included the complete construction and fit-out of the new homes, from substructure and superstructure through to roofing, internal finishes and mechanical and electrical installations. The project also incorporated all associated roads, footpaths, drainage, utility connections, landscaping and external site works.
Careful planning, coordination and quality control were maintained throughout the development to ensure consistent standards across each of the new homes and associated infrastructure.
