Ormonde Construction delivered the Dún Lia Housing Development in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, on a Design & Build basis for Clúid Housing, completing the existing Dún Lia estate and providing high-quality social housing for the local community.
The development comprises a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, together with eight two-bedroom bungalows designed to meet accessibility needs, providing suitable accommodation for older residents and wheelchair users.
Works included the complete construction and fit-out of the new homes, together with all associated roads, footpaths, drainage, utility connections, landscaping and site infrastructure.
As a Design & Build project, Ormonde Construction coordinated the design and construction process throughout the development, working closely with the project team to achieve the required standards of quality, performance and programme.
Careful planning was also required to successfully integrate the new homes and infrastructure with the existing Dún Lia residential estate.
The completed development provides modern, energy-efficient and accessible homes within an established community and demonstrates Ormonde Construction’s experience in the successful Design & Build delivery of high-quality social housing developments.
